Project background
The Orientation space is a journey that embraces and welcomes the visitor onto Country, conveys the powerful and intimate connection to Land, and slows the pace in preparation for the diverse stories and culture of Gallery of First Australians.

Conceived as a digital first experience, the space includes immersive projections, a 6m x 3m interactive indigenous artwork and video content.

The interiors palette uses indigenous handicraft and textiles in a contemporary manners with the overall aesthetic being modern and fresh.
